Internships

The ICDF offers opportunities for individuals to share and apply their skills and energy developing cultural projects with significant socio-economic impact in Latin America and the Caribbean.

We seek candidates who are interested in areas related to marketing, human resources, cultural management, and international development. Interns will work in areas such as: research, website administration, public relations and general administrative duties. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to be involved in helping us build partnerships with other non-profit organizations, Embassies, public and private foundations, universities and investigation centers.

Skills: Candidates should be proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, and possess strong computer skills. Knowledge of Portuguese or French is desirable.

Interested parties should send a letter and a resume to: culture@iacdf.org

Internships are based on workload demands.

Volunteers

Nature of the work: Volunteers help mainly with research activities and with tasks related to their area of expertise. Keeping information current is an essential part of the Foundation’s work and volunteers play a very important role in helping us achieve that and other goals.

You don’t have to be in Washington D.C., to volunteer your time and skills: you can be part of our team working from different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and being involved with the implementation of cultural programs currently supported by the ICDF.

Incentives: Working at the Foundation provides volunteers with the opportunity to gain experience in areas related to management, marketing for non-profits and public relations. Volunteers receive a letter of recognition from the Foundation upon completion of the assignment.
