Our Mission
The Inter-American Culture and Development Foundation (ICDF) seeks to strengthen cultural development in Latin America and the Caribbean through plans, programs, and projects designed to promote socio-economic sustainable ways of reducing poverty, improving quality-of-life, and achieving greater social equity in the region.

All proposals for ICDF support or technical assistance will be evaluated against the following set of eligibility criteria:
- Representativeness and cultural relevance
- Economic and social sustainability
- Project execution capacity
- Strategic partnerships and local counterpart
- Community involvement
The members of the ICDF Board of Trustees evaluate project financing proposals and make the final selection. Proposals submitted to the ICDF for consideration must follow a methodology that will be provided to interested organizations.
