The projects supported by the ICDF help to preserve the cultural patrimony, increase the community participation and education, strengthen cultural industries, and improve the living conditions of people in Latin America and the Caribbean through culture.

Each year, the ICDF identifies several projects for priority focus and investment, with clear potential to make a long-term impact, both- culturally and socio-economically.
Our current initiative is to seek and secure international private sector support for the Renovation Project for the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI) in Peru. The ICDF is seeking the support of individuals and corporations to achieve its goal of raising a total of $1.9 million towards the restoration costs, of which $100,000 has been committed.
- Giving levels range from $100,000 to $450,000, for support of the restoration of four spaces in the MALI’s galleries.
- Donors and sponsors will join an international consortium of individuals, foundations and corporations in support of cultural heritage preservation in Peru.
- Extensive recognition opportunities and benefits are available at each level of support, both at MALI and through the ICDF in Washington, New York, Miami and other Latin American cities.
- Proposals for support and sponsorship benefit packages are tailored for each interested individual or corporation. As a 501(c) (3) incorporated in the U.S., gifts to the foundation are tax deductible within the limits prescribed by law.
